What Aculen is
Aculen is matter management and drafting in one system. The matter holds the client, the deadlines, the documents, the email, and the money. Letters and court forms start with the right names, dates, and case numbers already in place.
AI works inside the matter: it reads incoming email, proposes deadlines with the exact quoted words, and fills your templates. A person approves everything before it becomes a deadline, a client, or a letter. Aculen does not give legal advice and does not replace a lawyer’s judgment.
Who it is for

What it includes
Intake: A client writes. Aculen reads the mail and proposes a deadline, a filing, or a new intake card. A person confirms.
Retainer and e-sign: generate the retainer from your firm's template, send for signature, and the matter opens when it's signed.
Letters and follow-up: client letters from your firm's wording — document requests, scheduling, status — personalized from the matter.
Mail and deadlines: every inbound email is read once; court e-filing notices match their case number; extracted dates arrive as proposals you approve.
Court PDFs and drafting: complaints, discovery papers, and Judicial Council forms filled from the matter.
Trust and billing: client trust accounting with a monthly three-way, client by client. Aculen writes the report; you review and close. The PDF files to your Drive. Disbursement statements and a complete money packet per client.
